China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (Harbin Trade Fair) is sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, The People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province, and the People’s Government of Harbin Municipality. Since it was inaugurated in 1990, the Fair evolved into a grand international economic and trade event, and an important window for China to further develop diversified international market in an all round way. The 20th China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair shall be held from June 15-19, 2009 in Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center. Governmental and economic trading missions from dozens of countries all over the world and over 30 Chinese domestic provinces, cities and autonomous regions shall come to attend the fair.
The 20th China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair provides 3000 international standard booths, the total exhibition space covers 86,000 square meters. 12 professional exhibition pavilions are as follows: Manufacturing Industry Exhibition Area, High-Tech Exhibition Area, Tourism Industry Exhibition Area, Financial Industry Exhibition Area, Modern Agriculture Exhibition Area, Construction Materials Exhibition Area, Light Industry Exhibition Area, HongKong, Macau and Taiwan Regions Exhibition Area, Foreign Countries Exhibition Area, Outdoor Large-scale Machinery Exhibition Area, Machinery and Electric Products Pavilion, Furniture Pavilion.
During the fair, a series of business activities shall be held, including: Russian Business Day, Transnational Purchasing Conference, Investment Projects Promotion Conference, business promotion and negotiation activities for Japan, ROK, European Union, America, other countries and regions.
