Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui Holds Consultations on International Security and Arms Control with Gabor Brodi, Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry

On March 18th, 2004, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui held consultations on international security and arms control in Beijing with Gabor Brodi, visiting Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the China-Hungaria bilateral relations, counter terrorism, non-proliferation, the Afghan and Iraqi situations, NATO development trends and other issues. Zhang noted the Chinese Government attached great importance to developing friendly relations between the two countries and stood ready to promote cooperation in various fields. Brodi positively evaluated China's constructive role in international affairs and reaffirmed its strong support of the one-China policy.
